TERROR SYNDROME: Release Date Set For Debut Album

TERROR SYNDROME, the Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada-based band featuring THE DEVIN TOWNSEND BAND drummer Ryan Van Poederooyen, will release its self-titled debut album digitally through iTunes, Napster and Rhapsody on August 7, 2008.

Commented the group: "This album has been in the making for quite sometime and our fans have been as patient as patient can be. We're not going to make anyone wait no longer and we feel this is going to be the best first step we can take in getting this album out to all of you world wide.

"We have talked to many labels and distribution companies over many months and continue to do so but unfortunately the music industry is a really tough place to make a good deal happen at this moment in time. The Internet has become such a powerful tool, so, we're going to release and promote our album independently on the net for now and let it spread as fast as it can through our base fans to new fans and keep it going. The TERROR will spread and this album will get out to you all worldwide!"

"Terror Syndrome" was mixed by Devin Townsend (STRAPPING YOUNG LAD) and was mastered by Greg Reely (DEVILDRIVER, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, MISERY SIGNALS, FEAR FACTORY).
